We've decided that we just could not possibly make it through an entire year without opening another GreenCraft home to the public, so we would like to invite one and all to visit the The Connolly House at the Prairie this coming weekend. The Connolly Residence is a 3,555 sq ft high-performance green home that is a demonstration project for the Department of Energy's "Building America" program. This home utilizes many energy efficient and green building techniques that will allow it to achieve an average total electric bill of $40 per month while also having a minimal impact on the environment.
